We were at the counter waiting for our food when someone shouted something and we looked to see a hire van being driven under the barrier on the drive through. It instantly was stuck and the driver drove backwards and forwards. A member of staff ran out to see what was going on.
Eventually the van ripped through the sign - the van was seriously damaged though with a huge gash of metal ripped off the roof.All the customers had a good look at the van!
The drive through height barrier is seriously damaged. The driver
drove off - not staying for any food.
By the time we left a member of staff had parked their car across the drive though to stop other cars being damaged.
Nic had seen a car drive through the 6ft barrier at the tip recently with its boot up - the boot was pretty damaged by its encounter with the post.
